New Manics Album News
Apparently the new MSP album is to contain all Richey lyrics that were left behind ; with some editing by Nicky. I personally, am very excited for this! Just think lyrics that have been kept away for all these years, finally being released! Album is set for a May 2009 release.
Richey Assumed 'Dead'
I'm sure you all know by now, but on November 23 2008 Richey's parents decided to assume Richey deceased. Honestly I still do not know how I feel about it, and will keep my opinions on the matter to myself,other than that I hope whatever state Rich is in or whatever has happened, that it was what he wanted and that he felt/found what he was in search for.
New Icons/Lack of Update
I've added 20 new icons to the icon gallery. Also just so you know, I'm in the transition of moving from my old cpu to my new laptop, so I will not have Photoshop for a while, therefore new icons may or may not be scarce for a while depending on how soon I can get the program back, which I apologize for.

New Pages
I have just launched 2 new pages to Archives-Of-Pain...
Quotes
First, a Quotes page. Here you'll find a huge amount of things said by Richey over the years. In the future I may be putting up a full fledged articles page, where you will be able to find articles and interviews from Richey's time in the band, but until then, there is the quotes page.
Recent Articles
Second, there is the 'Recent Articles' page. This page is set up in a Blog format, and displays recent articles (news, or magazine), and blog posts, I may have seen online that mention Richey, his disappearance, or something about the Manic's. A lot of people are still writing about him today, and I find it refreshing to see.
Links Page Update
Over 10 new links have been added to the Links page. All the sites, are excellent and you may want to consider checking some out!
New Icons
7 new icons have been added to the Icons gallery. Be sure to check them out!
Upcoming Pages
Videos
Be expecting a Videos page to pop up in the near future. Theres going to be one featured Richey or Manic's related video (updated weekly) that you can watch right on the page, and then a collection of text links that will bring you to various different Richey and Manics videos on the web. Music videos, interviews, live performances, etc.
Downloads
Archives-Of-Pain, will soon be featuring a downloads page. Here you will be able to download,full interviews in an audio format, as well as some in a Video format. I'm also considering adding some short Richey animations made by myself..

New Icons
I've added 10 new Icons to the Icon gallery, enjoy.
Changes to some pages...
I've redone the Wallpaper and Blends pages, with a similar set up to the photo gallery. Wallpapers and Blends are now organized into different categories.( ex: all graphics featuring just Richey are together in one album, and ones lets say, with Richey and Nicky have their own album,etc). Be sure to check it out :)

I believe I mentioned this in the last update, but if anyone has any fan art they would like to share, I'm going to make a section for those in the Photo Gallery. If your interested, you can email me, and you will get your own album, and credit.

I'm working on a new page that is going to feature fan stories. Whatever it is, how you got into the Manicx/Richey? Changed your life? Concert experience? or anything else related to Richey or the Manicx, Feel free to send in your ideas either via email or the guestbook (*email is preferred). Just like the fan art thing, if you have any story your willing to share, you will get your own subpage, and credit. Contact info is in the About Me page.

NEW PHOTO GALLERY
I'm proud to say, I have finally managed to get up a MUCH better photo gallery then I had up before. The new one is separated into different sections (ex: live,photoshoots,candids) and takes you to an album page with the photo thumbnails, and you click on which ever you like, and it take you to the full size image. The gallery is currently under construction, but a lot is going to be added between now and next week, so I'll keep you updated. Also, if anyone has any fan art and would like it in the gallery,please email me! You will get your own album, and credit. I'm going to be putting up some of my stuff there as well once it is up.

New Site Forum!
Archives Of Pain, now has a site forum. There is a link to join the forum, right above this updates box. I have been thinking about making a forum for the site for quite a while now, but wasn't sure if anyone would go to it, so I've made it to give the idea a chance. Just so you know, if you do join, I will be on there as often as I possibly can, if you ever want to talk to me. I'm registered there as, ManicxKat. Anyway, if you want to join go ahead :) Theres a room for strictly Richey/Manics posts, and another for anything off topic in which you would like to discuss. Enjoy, and as always, if there is suggestions you would like to make, please feel free.

Today makes 13 years since Richey James Edwards dissapeared. I would personally like to send out my most positive thoughts to him, and I hope that he is alive and well, and most importantly, that he has found the inner peace he more than well deserved. Best wishes to you Rich, you are always in our hearts.
Anniversary
I'm proud to also say, that today is the one year anniversary of this site's launch. Archives-Of-Pain was launched, February 1. 2007. Still up, running and doing good! However I couldn't have made it this far without all the support I've gotten from the visitors, thank you so much, and I plan to keep this going as long as I possibly can.
New Graphics
I've added 27 new icons to the icon gallery, 2 new signatures to the blends/signatures gallery, and 1 new wallpaper to the wallpaper gallery. More coming by the next update.

HUGE SITE UPDATE!
Hey all, updating to let you know of some magor changes to the site.
The self injury, anorexia, and alcoholism sub-pages are finally complete! You can now check them out. They all have some good material up, and if you'd like to contribute, there are directions there as to what you can do. I'm really happy to finally have these pages set up, and I apologize, that its taken me, forever to do.
Next,
I also, updated the Links, page. I added a few new Manic's fansites,as well as two Manic's related blogs, and some resource sites for those seeking help with self injury, anorexia and/or alcohalism. I will be adding some more of those in time. I also left the links to my other fansite,as well as my reviews blog and personal blog.
ANNIVERSARY COMING UP..
You all know what tomorrow is, the 13th anniversary of Richey's dissapearence, as well, as the 1 year anniversary of this sites, premiere. I'm very happy to have made it this long, and I plan to keep going for as long as I possibly can. If you guys want anything added to this site, let me know , I want to make this site the best resource to the fans, and I can only do so, if you let me know what you want to see!!
In honor of the anniversary, I will be updating the site tomorrow with new icons,signitures, and wallpaper.
My next plans for the site, is to get a much better gallery up, than the one I previously just slapped together on Fotki, so be expecting that!

Site Issues
I've gotten a few messages from our host, Piczo, about a problem of missing images from Websites. At the moment, I don't see anything missing from A.O.P., however if anyone is having problems with the site, could you please let me know? (email and contact info in the About page) and I'll get it straightened out best, I can. Also if anyone has a Mac, for some reason, pictures from the site and other piczo sites, often don't work. I don't know why, although there is possibility this is my school's (where I've had this issue with Mac's) internet filter.

Hey everyone, I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately, I'm back at school again, so you know what comes with that..
Anyway, I'm not in a position where I have time to manage both of my fan sites, so I was forced with the decision of putting one of hiatus, and so I decided that since this site is still new, I'm keeping it up and putting my other fan site, ''Stricken Love'' on hiatus.

GALLERY STAYING AS IS
My trial period on Fotki, has come to and end so now, I'm using the free version.However all the pictures are still, I never went over the limit, I guess.So anyway, I'm planning to keep the gallery on Fotki, until the limit is reached and I'll see what happens after that =)

Finally and update...
I cannot press enough how sorry I am for the lack of updates.Really, I was quite a bit behind with a few other things including my other fansite so now I have to pay my dues and get caught up with everything.
First of all, I would like to really thank Severn for providing me with a massive list of links to very good Manic/Richey fansites.I really really appreciate the help, and I am still in the process of adding all the links.Severn also has a really good Richey fansite with massive amounts of pictures, I'm in awe of the site myself, you can check it out here : http://vblonska.sblog.cz/richey_james-fotky/

It took me exactly one month,but this site is finally up!Pretty much all the content is up.The only pages with some missing content is the sub pages on the Richey page, "Self Injury",Alcoholism", and "Anorexia" and that is because im busy still doing some research on the subjects.If you can help me out in any way with those pages, it would really, really appreciated.my email (shoxes_greendaygirl@yahoo.com).Anyhow, this site features many things.Including a biography of Richey,My Opinion of what happened to him, graphics you and use on forums and much more! I made this site because there are not many Richey Edwards fansites out there and I would like to make a difference.Richey is a very intelligent and worthwhile man and I wish more people would see this.
